Lee’s Fresh Market

Before relaunching as Lee’s Fresh Market in 2021, McLamb’s Abattoir & Meats knew they needed to realign their brand strategy. Their marketing efforts had yielded little results and failed to effectively represent them as a premium butcher shop.

In a butchers world, that idea of freshness is extremely important. To set them apart from their competitors, I eschewed literal interpretations of cows, pigs and chickens and went with a softer vintage style.

Beginning with the idea of a wax seal and seal of quality I built a strong emblem that, through its use on products and advertising, will represent their own personal quality assurance. We wanted people to say “This is Lee’s so it must be good!”.
