Crossbones Brewing
In October 2022, Crossbones Brewing opened its doors to establish itself as a grassroots, family-owned craft brewery.
To market their craft beers, a flexible symbol needed to represent a strong social media presence along with their printed products like packaging, shirts, hats, cups, coasters and more.
The solution was twofold—a complete mark with their full name, and a shorter mark that would be consumer-facing. The Crossbones icon turns the standard pirate schtick on it’s side to form an ‘X’, and takes inspiration from the mid-16th century where it denoted the strength of a beer. More marks would mean a stronger beer.
Their new logo (along with great brew) has made the Crossbones Brewing brand a staple of downtown Dunn, NC.
